Ideas rule the world..yay or nay???

IDEAS RULE THE WORLD
It has long been recognized that ideas rule the world. Ideas have been around even before the creation of man. For instance, the Holy Bible records that God thought to send forth the word and six days later, the earth as we know it came into existence. This is the concise version of the story of creation.
Even the works of geniuses have its roots in the ideas of the past. Introducing Sir A. Fleming, a Scottish bacteriologist in London. One morning in 1928, he set a Petri dish with Staphylococci near an open window. Upon return, he found some mold had contaminated it. Instead of throwing away the ruined experiment, he studied it under the microscope to discover that the penicillium mold was dissolving the deadly bacteria. Further experiments were performed and the rest, as they say, is medical history.
Ideas exist on very different levels. On one end of the spectrum, there is the little school boy who thought to save his daily snack money, rather than indulge in a much-wanted akara. This in turned earned him the necessary fee for his Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination. His SSCE and further qualifications gave him (and only him) the necessary knowledge to qualify for a job which he otherwise would not have qualified for. On the other end of the spectrum are the likes of Bill Gates (Microsoft) & George Stevenson (Locomotive Engine) whose ideas have led to great innovations which directly affect the lives of millions of people across the world, everyday.

Regrettably, not all ideas are manifested as good or useful to man.3 A classic illustration of this is Adolph Hitler, a single individual, who outlined his vision of a future in which all Germans would be united in a single Reich which would include Austria, Czechoslovakia and parts of Germany. Soon, he took the first step towards slowly but surely achieving his aim.In the most horrifying crime against humanity known as The Holocaust ,seventeen million civilians (of which six million were Jews) perished.

Throughout history, inventions and events have been documented. Whether it has to do with creation, sustenance (see Fleming) or annihilation (as with Hitler), a seed of an idea was nurtured and set in motion. Its ultimate destination can, and most often, does change the course of the world for good or for evil.
